David Mark Alexander passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana at the age of 56. He was born on Monday, December 28, 1964 in Hammond and was raised in Ponchatoula, Louisiana. David graduated from Ponchatoula High School. He was a heavy equipment operator, he was the owner of Bears Baits, and he loved to fish.
David is survived by his beloved family: his loving parents, David G. and Gwendolyn S. Alexander; sister and brother-in-law, Susan A. Guthrie and Jimmy Guthrie; three daughters and their husbands, Kristan A. and Brandon Miller, Brandi A. and Bryce Amond, and Tiffany A. and Chris Thompson; six grandchildren, Brisyn, Khloe, and Beckham Miller and Brody, Baleigh, and Brantley Amond; nephew, Kelly David Vicari; and niece, Summer M. Bonnecaze.
Preceded in death by his grandmother, Eva C. Alexander, and grandparents, Ray and Bethel Sheridan.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Services in the chapel of LN Hughes Funeral Services, 21400 South I-12 Service Road, Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 on Monday, May 17, 2021 at 11:00 am with Pastor Eric Hattaway presiding. The visitation will begin at 9:00 am and continue until service time.
Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens, Hammond, Louisiana.
