Darrell Wayne Sharp

Darrell Wayne Sharp passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at his residence in Tickfaw, Louisiana, at the age of 66.  He was born on Sunday, July 1, 1956, in Independence, Louisiana.  He was a carpenter and worked in the construction industry for many years.  He proudly served his country in the United State Army.

Darrell is survived by his brothers, Leslie L. Sharp and Thomas B. Sharp.  Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, Leslie Eugene Sharp and Juanita May Richardson Sharp; brother, John Charles Miller; and sister, Joretta May Sharp-Thompson.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Darrell’s Life in the chapel of LN Hughes Funeral Services, 21400 South I-12 Service Road, Ponchatoula, LA 70454 on Saturday, March 4, 2023, from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
