Carolyn Dieck Casey

Carolyn Dieck Casey passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at her residence in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, at the age of 79.  She was born on Monday, October 30, 1944, in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Carolyn is survived by her loving family.  Her son and daughter-in-law, Ryan and Joie Babin Casey; and grandchildren, Rachael, Gavin, and Joshua Casey.  Also survived by sister, Elaine Dieck Reis; nephew, Clifford Reis, Jr., and nieces, Laurie Reis Brister and Karen Reis Barrilleaux.

Preceded in death by her loving husband Edward Casey, her parents, Lawrence Joseph and Julia Schmidt Dieck; brother-in-law Clifford Reis, Sr. and sister-in-law, Doris Casey.

The Casey family extends special thanks to friends Patty Walter and Carolyn Kennon for their compassionate care.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at St. Anselm Catholic Church, 306 Saint Mary St, Madisonville, LA 70447 on Monday, November 20, 2023, at 11:00 am.  Visitation will begin at 9:00 am and continue until 11:00 am at church.
