Brett William Core

Brett William Core passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, in Kentwood, Louisiana at the age of 32. He was born on Thursday, December 5, 1991, to Lori Ann Willoughby and Ernest William Core, in Hammond, Louisiana.

Brett is survived by his son, Brody William Core; his twin brother, Devin G. Core; sisters, Marley Stilley (Mike) and Brandi A. Core; and grandmother, Betty Willoughby.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his mother, Lori A. Willoughby; father, Ernest “Will” Core; grandfather, Fred Willoughby; grandparents, Frank William Core and Ella Mae Harris Core; and his sister, Jacy Caroline Core.

A Visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church of Tickfaw, 14244 Highway 442 W, Tickfaw, LA 70466 on Saturday, July 20, 2024, from 2:00 pm until the Memorial Service begins at 3:30 pm.

Arrangements are entrusted to LN Hughes Funeral Services of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
