Brenda Marie Wilson Gonzales

Brenda Marie Wilson Gonzales passed away peacefully on Friday, April 30, 2021 in Covington, Louisiana at the age of 71.  She was born on Saturday, November 12, 1949 in Independence, Louisiana and was a long-time resident of Hammond, Louisiana.  Brenda was a devoted mother to her two sons, whom she adored and always put first in her life.

Brenda is survived by her beloved family: her son and daughter-in-law, Arnulfo and Grace Gonzales; grandchildren, Philip Danos (Robin), Jason Danos (Sheena), and Jade Innerarity (Chris); great grandchildren, Megan Danos, Olivia Danos, Isabella Danos, Dylan Danos, Mathew Danos, Khyra Allemand, Gracie Innerarity, Ty Innerarity, Brody Innerarity, and Rorie Innerarity; and brother, Larry Barcia.

Preceded in death by her husband, Arnulfo Gonzales, Sr.; son, Jimmy Gonzales; brother, James Wilson; and parents, James “Jimmy” and Virginia Wilson.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Brenda’s Life at Good News Fellowship Church, 13101 Louisiana 442, Tickfaw, Louisiana 70466 on Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm.  Interment will be held in Holly Gardens Cemetery at a later date.
