Brandon Gene Rogers

Brandon Gene Rogers, a beloved resident of Independence, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 37. Born on July 29, 1987, in Hammond, Brandon was known for his love of fishing, cookouts, and crawfish boils. He had a passion for  making money, and he cherished spending time with his family on weekends and holidays when he wasn't working on the boat. Brandon also had a talent for making people laugh.

He is survived by his children, Bryce Rogers, Savannah Canale, and Seth Rogers; father, Shannon Rogers; mother, Stacey Easley; sister, Brittany Baham; grandparents, Thomas Burien Magee and Gloria Magee; and Laura Canale, the mother of Savannah and Seth.  Brandon is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his uncle, Christopher Brian Magee; grandparents, Claude W. and Geneva A. Easley; great grandmother, Gloria Alessi; and Chelsea Oakley, the mother of Bryce.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of LN Hughes Funeral Services, located at 21400 South I-12 Service Road, Ponchatoula, Louisiana, on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at 4:00 pm. Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm and continue until the service begins at 4:00 pm.

Interment will follow in Colonial Cemetery, Independence, Louisiana.
