Billy Ray Richards, II, age 35, of Ponchatoula, formerly of Waggaman, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023, in Hammond, LA. He was born on Tuesday, October 11, 1988, in Metairie, Louisiana, to Angila “Angie” Hadley Richards and the late Billy Ray Richards, Sr. Billy enjoyed life and loved working on cars, fishing, riding four wheelers and dirt bikes, hunting, and traveling but he especially loved spending time with his children, family and friends.

Billy is survived by his beloved sons, Xavier and Leland Richards (sons of Heather Krummel), and Jayden and Kayden Richards (sons of the late Jody Allo); his loving mother, Angila "Angie" Hadley Richards; sister and brother-in-law, Brittney and Phillip Thompson; nephews, Brenden, Phillip, Jr., Landen, and Kyren; grandmother, Dorathy "Dot" Richards; aunts, Frances Veronessi, Greta Richards, Hope Austin (John), and Kathy Bordelon (Bubby); and uncle, Richard Hadley (Sharon).  Also survived by many close family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Billy “Bad” Ray Richards, Sr.; fiancé, Jody Allo: grandparents, Patsy Hadley, Oliver Hadley, William "Cleo" Richards, and Mary Donaldson Richards; uncles, Bobby Richards and David Richards; and aunt, Shirley Miller.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Billy’s Life in the chapel of LN Hughes Funeral Services, 21400 South I-12 Service Road, Ponchatoula, Louisiana on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at 12:00 pm.  The visitation will begin at 10:00 am and continue until service time.
