Betty Carroll Everett Demarest

Betty Carroll Everett Demarest went to her Heavenly home on Sunday, December 4, 2022, with her loving family by her side at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington, Louisiana, at the age of 67. She was born on Tuesday, October 25, 1955, in Texas and resided in Albany, Louisiana.

Betty was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and dear friend.  She was definitely a “daddy’s girl” throughout her entire life.  She loved her family dearly and was happiest surrounded by those she loved and who loved her.  She will forever be in our hearts.

Betty is survived by her adoring family: her husband of 37 years, Terry Demarest; daughters, Kim Demarest (Steve), Andrea Bonin (Ben), Cheryl McKinney (Louis), Sabrena Prokop (John), Heather Demarest (David), and Terri Demarest; sisters, Ruby Everett, Bernetta Curtis, and Elizabeth Troyer; nine cherished grandchildren, Christopher, Chelsea, JR, Alexander, Alyssa, Anthony, Brennan, McKayla, Ashton, and Allie. She was also blessed with four great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and her fur babies, Gizzy and Gidget.

Greeting Betty in Heaven was her rock and beloved father, Joseph M. Everett and her mother, Patsy Everett; brother, William Allen Everett; daughter, Toni Thomas; and nephews, Jamie Fekety and Michael Haskell.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Betty's Life in the chapel of LN Hughes Funeral Services, 21400 South I-12 Service Road, Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 on Saturday, December 10, 2022, from 10:00 am until the service begins at 12:00 pm.
