Ann Finneran Ketchum

Ann Finneran Ketchum passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at her home in Loranger, LA on Friday, June 17, 2022, at the age of 80. She was born on Tuesday, September 30, 1941, in Central Falls, Rhode Island to Thomas and Sarah Finneran.  Ann was a graduate of Hope High School in Providence, Rhode Island.  She was an active member of St. Margaret Church in Maggie Valley, North Carolina where they lived for 30 years.

Ann loved her husband, children, sister, grandchildren, and her two dogs.  She loved being outdoors and doing yard work with her husband.  When she wasn’t working outside or running around with Jessie, she did a variety of crafts.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, Jasay F. Ketchum; children, Lori Kyle and Michael J. Ketchum (Lisa); grandchildren, Joshua Ketchum, Jamie Lynn Jones (Matt), DuWayne Kyle, Jr., Sarah Kyle, and Thomas Kyle; sister, Mary F. Guptill (Richard); and her two dogs, Sadie and Nola.

Preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Sarah Finneran; and siblings, John T. Finneran and Margaret E. Matteson (Billy).

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 11345 St John Church Rd, Folsom, LA 70437 on Friday, June 24, 2022, at 10:00 am.

Inurnment will follow in the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 34888 Grantham College Dr, Slidell, LA 70460.
