Angelle Minnette Melancon

Angelle Minnette Melancon passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 5, 2023 in New Orleans, Louisiana, at the age of 50.  She was born on Thursday, August 17, 1972 in Metairie, Louisiana to the late Donna Jane Spann and Norman Peter Melancon, and resided in Kenner, Louisiana.  Angelle was a loving mother and grandmother who loved butterflies, angels, and spending time with her family.

Angelle is survived by her son, Donovan Melancon; daughters, Gabrielle Kuhnau, and Casandra Mulkey; grandsons, Chase and Chandler Melancon; aunt, Loree Labatut Krajcer (Jimmy); uncle, Lawrence Labatut, Jr. (Sari); and lifelong partner, Stephen Kuhnau.  Also survived by many family members and friends.

Preceded in death by her mother, Donna Spann Sarver; father, Norman P. Melancon; grandfather, Lawrence V. Labatut, Sr.; and grandmother, Jane A. Smith.

Private services will be held by the family.
